CyberAuto Challenge

About the CyberAuto Challenge

Thank you to our industry-leading Titaniaum sponsors: Ford, Toyota, and Toyota Tsusho Systems US for their leadership and commitment to building the cyber workforce of tomorrow. The event and the learning opportunities available during the Challenge would not be possible without this support.

Thank you also to all other sponsors - they sent engineers, provided financial backing, sent trainers and equipment, and helped show a unique window for cybersecurity carrers in the automotive space.

The 2025 CyberAuto Challenge was held in Dearborn (Greater Detroit) from July 14th - July 18th and hosted students from the US, Germany, Turkey, and the UK. Check out the Gallery sections to see images from the event.

The CyberAuto Challenge is the oldest and longest running event that focuses on automotive cybersecurity (established in 2012). It seeks to inspire and train the next generation workforce and puts students in teams with industry, government, and hackers/researchers to work on real platforms and full systems. Trainers are among the best in the world. The classes change every year, but for the past several years we have emphasized electrical vehicle & infrastructure, forensics, and wireless attacks. Students from schools in 14 different countries have participated (as of 2024). We are strongly industry friendly, and our sponsors have made it possible to hold this annual event at no cost to the participating students.
